At I Rescued Patisserie & Bakery, we cherish the opportunity to highlight the incredible work of local organizations that inspire us every day. This past month, we’re thrilled to shine a spotlight on Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary, reflect on our recent pop-up successes, and share exciting updates about our upcoming collaboration with Winnebago County Animal Services.
Gratitude for Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary for their incredible work and for helping us draw awareness to two very special furry friends: Raven, the gorgeous pittie who’s been waiting the longest for her forever home, and Rupert, a charming cat who’s ready for his special someone.
Their dedication to animals in need is truly inspiring, and we’re honored to have partnered with them to help Raven and Rupert find loving homes. We cannot wait to collaborate with them again in the future to continue spreading hope and care.

Looking Ahead: Collaboration with Winnebago County Animal Services
As we move into May, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be working with Winnebago County Animal Services to nominate another lovable pittie for our spotlight. This upcoming collaboration represents a shared commitment to advocating for pets in need, and we can’t wait to introduce you to the next special pup!
Winnebago County Animal Services has a mission that inspires us deeply:Â Winnebago County Animal Services is a department of Winnebago County government, covering more than 500 square miles and serving over 280,000 residents. They provide essential services like pet licensing and registration, veterinary care, animal welfare investigations, pet adoptions, and more.
Every year, the department cares for an average of 4,000 animals, ensuring that unclaimed pets are given a second chance to find loving homes. Their adoptable pet listings are updated continuously, and if you don’t find your furry match there, they encourage you to explore other shelters and rescues in the community.
Stay tuned for updates on this exciting collaboration and how you can help make a difference for another deserving pittie!
Pop-Up Event Highlights
April has been a whirlwind of amazing pop-up events, and we are so thankful for the support and opportunities that came with them. Here’s a recap of the fun:

Norm’s Pop-Up: Laughter and joy filled the air as Norms brought the energy and made sure everyone stopped by to grab our goodies. We’ll never forget the beautiful bunny and the good vibes you all brought!
Culture Shock: Skyler’s support made this event one to remember. Despite a busy schedule, he ensured everything ran smoothly, and we had a blast meeting so many incredible people.
Cherryvale Mall Vendor Show: Sunday’s event was calm and steady, with Gary going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks to this event, we connected with lovely people and gained new followers in the process.
To Norms, Culture Shock, and Cherryvale Mall—we can’t thank you enough for welcoming us, supporting our mission, and creating environments where we could meet so many wonderful people.
Featured Treat: Cardamom Morning Buns
Our Cardamom Morning Buns have been an absolute hit! With a golden, crunchy crust and a soft, airy interior, these buns are infused with the warm flavors of cinnamon and cardamom, along with a sprinkle of walnuts. The result? A perfect blend of texture, flavor, and a touch of indulgence.
Whether paired with your favorite morning coffee, savored as a quick snack, or enjoyed alongside your favorite dish, these buns embody the magic and joy of fresh bread done right.
With every event, every collaboration, and every story, we’re reminded of the power of community and compassion. Thank you to everyone who supports us, whether through purchasing our goodies or helping us spread the word about pets in need. Together, we’re making a difference—one paw, one smile, and one sweet treat at a time.
Meet Rupert: A Charming Cat Waiting for His Special
Someone
Joining our spotlight this month is Rupert, a 6-year-old domestic shorthair with a unique personality. Rupert came to Noah’s Ark as a stray in December 2023. Despite having a microchip, his previous owners never came for him.
